The Five Rivers Chapter of Trout Unlimited is based in the Durango area of Southwest Colorado. We are blessed to have the blue-ribbon Animas River run right through our hometown and to live close to hundreds of miles of pristine wilderness streams, rivers and lakes.

Our name comes from our founding mission of protecting five major local rivers: the Animas, Piedra, San Juan, Dolores and the Pine. The new Dolores Rivers Anglers TU chapter now protects that river, but we have plenty of other watersheds to look after and thus kept our name!
